Our Story
The Evolution of the 3-Day MTB Stage Race
New Mexico Singletrack is the newest chapter in our long tradition of building world-class mountain bike stage races.
Joining Moab Rocks and Fernie Singletrack 3, this event completes a trifecta of premium, long-weekend adventures designed for riders who crave big terrain, strong community, and the pure joy of singletrack.
Born from more than two decades of stage race experience, New Mexico Singletrack brings everything riders love about our events into a fresh, high-desert format. Three days. Three distinct landscapes. One unforgettable ride through the heart of Northern New Mexico.
From the flowing piñon forests around Santa Fe to the mesas of Los Alamos and the steep, forested ridgelines of Glorieta, this race is built for riders who want a challenge that fits into a long weekend — but still delivers a lifetime of stories.
You’ll find all the hallmarks of a TransRockies production: professionally managed courses, dialled logistics, welcoming communities, and the kind of on-trail camaraderie that keeps riders coming back year after year.
It’s focused. It’s flowing. It’s full of the spirit that defines the Land of Enchantment.
This is more than just a new location.
It’s a natural evolution — a high-desert expression of everything we love about mountain biking.
Welcome to New Mexico Singletrack.
Who Is TransRockies?
For over two decades, TransRockies has been in the business of building legends.
From the high alpine of the original TransRockies Challenge to the singletrack sanctuaries of Singletrack 6, and the wild, wide-open rock of Moab Rocks, we’ve carved out a reputation for putting on races that leave a mark.
We don’t just put flags in the ground. We create experiences that push your limits, forge community, and stick with you long after the finish line. New Mexico Singletrack is the next chapter in that legacy—three days of unforgettable singletrack in the high desert of northern New Mexico.
On Commitment to the Land
We ride places shaped by thousands of years of history, culture, and natural forces — and we believe in treating those places with respect.
Here’s how we work to keep the high desert healthy and thriving:
Built to Last
Course signs, markers, and infrastructure are reused year after year to reduce waste and minimize our footprint.
Waste Less, Give More
Leftover food supports crew and local partners, helping ensure nothing usable goes to the landfill.
Local First
From coffee to creative partners, we source as much as possible from New Mexico businesses and organizations that help keep these communities vibrant.
Our goal is simple: ride with care, leave the land better, and honor the places that make this event possible.
